What to Wear for a Family & Friends Christmas Photoshoot
Choosing the right outfits for your Christmas photoshoot can make a world of difference in the final photos! Since we’ll be surrounded by lush Christmas trees at Crocker’s Christmas Tree Farm, you’ll want to pick clothes that complement the festive setting while keeping everyone comfortable and stylish. Here are a few tips on what to wear to make sure your family photos are picture-perfect:
1. Go for Classic Holiday Colours
Stick to traditional Christmas colors like rich reds, greens, whites, and even deep blues or golds. These colors naturally blend beautifully with the Christmas tree farm backdrop. You can mix and match shades to create a harmonious look. For example:
- Women: Cozy sweaters in red, emerald, or ivory, paired with skirts or pants.

November can be chilly, wet and as you've seen snowy so make sure to bring extra layers (like blankets or jackets) for warmth between shots, especially for the kids. If you’re dressing in lighter clothes, have a coat on hand to slip into for warmth when you’re not in front of the camera.
