The Importance of Engagement Photography

Whether you want Photography, videography or decide to go with none and put disposable camera's on your guests tables. Engagement Photography is something I recommend would to every couple.

There are so many advantages to having your engagement photography done. More often then not this session work as a multipurpose meeting with your photographer.

Getting to know you

One of the hardest tasks for your photographer will be to make you feel comfortable. It's tough enough having someone point a camera at you, never mind having to show your in love. This is your photographers chance to find out what are comfortable doing and getting you used to being in front of a camera, taking directions. It's also a handy way of learning if you like how this photographer works. Inspiration This session is great for inspiration on your big day. Finding which poses you like, generating ideas and gaining clarity on what it is you exactly want and how to remember your wedding day. And worse comes worse you know what to defiantly avoid. Crafts Weddings are expensive and often require a couple to get creative. There are many things you can do with your Engagement photos, Depending on when they are taken of course. You could use them as your announcement (if you can wait a couple of weeks), invitation and if you liked you could even use them to decorate your wedding. Personally I like to let the couple pick when it is best for them to have an engagement session, planning a wedding its hard enough with planning around everyone else. Questions This is a great opportunity for both the couple and the photographer to ask any questions and really iron out any concerns they may have. And remember your photographer has seen a fair few weddings in their time, ask for there wisdom. Cost and time Engagement session cost a fraction of your wedding, but a lot of the time depending on your package will be included. always makes sure you ask! Also if you have a videographer but want a photographer too even if they don't do it them selves they can often give you a recommendation. The photos you are seeing in this blog post were edited in Adobe Lightroom and as you can tell I got a little excited using colour. This however is a perfect reflection of this couple. Bold, colourful and fun. Thank you Guys for reading! Now if you liked this Don't forget to Subscribe, like and share. There will be a new blog posted every sunday at 12PM UK Time.
